Class Description: Flowers seem to be a common design element everywhere you look, and it can also be fun to create your own fun and colorful garden quilted wall hanging. We’ll be creating some realistic as well as imaginary flowers in this funky wall hanging.

Lesson 1: For our first lesson we'll be creating the focal area of our funky garden quilt. Techniques in this lesson include fusing, raw edge appliqué, and free-motion stitching. Free-motion quilting/stitching is optional and alternatives are suggested.

Lesson 2: In this lesson we'll be adding a border to our central focal unit, adding a fiber embellishment, and free-motion quilting (optional). You'll learn different options to bind your wall hanging, add an optional hanging sleeve, and talk about ways to display your new funky garden quilt.
